Our Community

Some of the beneficiary organizations we have had the pleasure to be associated with are displayed here. Be it cash grants, donations, or in-kind services, we will continue to support these and other worthy causes.

Besides monetary donations, we also participate in voluntary work. We believe being involved draws us closer to our community, and brings Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to a personal level. Below are a few highlights of some of our memorable endeavors.

Solar Panel Project in Cambodia

The La Valla School, located in the rural district of Takhmao, Kandal Province, Cambodia, is a school for children with disabilities.

Previously unable to attend their local elementary schools due to their disabilities, La Valla School aims to provide fully-financed basic elementary education to these children such that they will be able to be self-reliant and lead meaningful lives. The school also houses a swimming pool, to provide necessary physiotherapy for these children with special needs.

The power grid is not connected to the area, and will likely remain so for the foreseeable future. The school's power needs are supplied by a diesel generator, and as such, electricity is used sparingly especially at night, leaving the school compound dark and vulnerable to burglary.

Loveworks, a missionary group, together with a team of NUS Engineering undergrads, envisioned that solar panels would relieve the school of its reliance on the power generator, and significantly contribute to the standard of education and well-being of the children.

Our ED Mr Michael Tai saw the opportunity for us to contribute not only through donations, but by lending our knowledge and expertise through sponsoring 3 of our senior staff to assist in the planning and installation on-site in Cambodia.
